Polestar needed a partner to develop a modern digital infrastructure with high scalability and flexibility. The goal was to create a solution that could handle the rapidly growing market and enable global sales of electric cars. Vinn Group has been a strategic partner since 2019, providing architecture, design, development and PMO support.

Polestar – scalable digital ecosystem for global direct sales

To enable an agile and scalable digital business model, Polestar, together with Vinn Group, built a brand new digital ecosystem. In less than a year, a flexible platform was developed to support global direct sales of premium products.

The project required expertise in digital product development, IT architecture, systems development, UX and service design, and strategic recruitment. Yalta and Humblebee played a key role in developing the architecture and design, while Vinnter and Qing provided technical development and quality assurance.

Final result

The new platform provided Polestar with a flexible and scalable digital infrastructure that enabled global growth. The organisation grew from 0 to 16 teams, equivalent to around 150 people, in two years. Effective onboarding and recruitment of specialist expertise enabled rapid expansion, while the platform supports global direct sales of premium products.
